The purpose of the Paid Family Leave Study Group was to explore how the City of Atlanta could strengthen paid family leave policies for its employees and better support families throughout important life stages. Over the course of its work, the Study Group engaged with subject matter experts to examine existing policies and identify opportunities to improve paid leave for all City of Atlanta Employees. The Study Group developed recommendations that informed the City’s Paid Family Leave legislation, which was unanimously approved by City Council.
